Travel Spain: By Car
"Drive me to the destination, because I'm just too tired", is the
conversation many people have on a long trip, whether it be
cross-country, or after a flight and the rental car beckons for the
final leg. Travel Spain , but do it sensibly.
Nothing like having your own set of wheels on vacation.
Either bring your own or rent. To travel here by car is quite
straight forward.
Many visitors to this region arrive by air and rent a car at
or near, Alicante airport.
During the busy summer months, a lot of Europeans drive down to Spain.
As is expected with driving, a new destination equals need a
map. If you have a sat-nav, just key in the GPS coordinates
from the previous Location page and/or print off the google map further
down this page.
This page will give you driving directions to Perleta Magic from both
the airport and the major highways.
CAR
HIRE
When it comes to vacationing in Spain, most visitors that arrive at
Alicante airport have:
- a car that's waiting for them, as they live
here long term and have
their cars parked long-term at a off-airport carpark
- a charter bus or van that's waiting to take
them to further up or
down the coast
- some friends that they've come to visit who
have transport
- car rental
There's
a lot of choice when it comes to car rental services in
Spain. Some are off-airport which could mean that it's
cheaper;
many are in the airport itself. It's a good idea to book
your car
before arriving, especially if it's busy during summer and they find
that they're short of cars to go round. I know I wouldn't be
too happy
if I had to wait around for car rentals, when I could be sipping buck's
fizz and gin and tonics at the pool at Perleta
Magic, enjoying the
heat of the sun.
