Spanish Villa 1: Bungalow
In
its former
life, the Bungalow
functioned as a one-room office and a derelict garage, and not as a
classic Spanish villa in need of restoration. It has
been changed into a desirable fully self-contained
2-bed,
2-bath building, with a
dedicated patio and gazebo*, a charcoal barbeque, and a
private entrance and separate car park. It has the
typical
look of country house in Spain, and fits in well with its surroundings.
Choices
of fittings and vibrant earthy colours in the Bungalow are a reflection
of the vacation
ideas we
brought back from a previous trips to Andalucia in the southern
part of Spain.

*Gazebo, or
pergola, or Moroccan-style
tent... take your pick of descriptions.
The central tile-inlaid Moroccan table is great for al fresco dining,
drinks, games, or just chilling out.
The setting comes into its own at
night.
... add candles or low-level lighting at dusk for a romantic setting
(if just two of you)...
or, if the whole family is with you, make that "magical". |

Traditional Spanish villas offer rustic facilities and rural
charm ; basic and way out in the country.
The bungalow
has been built with some aspect of traditional villa feel, but it has
all the mod-cons, and is close to the beach and town
